Cute pics

I think I am all caught up on the christmas blogs. I just has to put these 2 pics on here. These pics are too cute. The kids both got cowboy boots for christmas.

Christmas Day

Christmas morning the kids woke up to all of their Santa goodies. They had so much fun playing with all of their new stuff. Hannah got all the baby stuff she wanted and Ryder got some fun boy stuff. Of course their favorite was a box of jelly beans Santa left in the stocking. That was their breakfast. Hannah said " Santa does make jelly beans in the North Pole"!! So cute. After playing at our house we went to my parents house for Christmas and then on friday we went to Perryton for Lance's family christmas. Very busy and very fun. The kids have so much stuff we could open a toy store.

Christmas parties!

Hannah had her CDO christmas party on Thursday. All the kids sang christmas carols. It was so cute. They had motions and everything. The good parts that everyone knew got very loud "Jingle all the way HEY" and then they would mumble the rest. They ate cupcakes, open stockings from the class and gave the parents their craft they had been working on. No pics of Ryder. There class is too young to do anything yet.

We also had a playgroup party at our house. The mom's exchange cookies and the kids decorated cookies. They had a lot of fun.

Santa

We took the kids to see Santa today. Hannah sat on his lap and told him exactly what she wanted for christmas. This was definatley a suprise because she has been so scared of him. Ryder on the other hand was scared to death. He screamed louder than I have ever heard and held onto me for dear life. So I just took a pic of him in a santa hat and called it good!

Criddle

A couple of nights ago Santa rang our door bell and left an elf on our front porch. Hannah was so excited. We read the story about the elf, and after some "mommy explanations" we understood that the elf watches us and lets santa know if we have been good or bad. Hannah named him Criddle. She loves finding him in his new spot every morning. Thank you to my elf friend who gave me this great idea!

Ginger bread house!

We made a ginger bread house tonight. It was so much fun. I think Lance and I had more fun than the kids. Of course they wanted to eat all the candy as we were putting it on the house. I definately think this will be a yearly thing. Let all the holiday fun begin!

So cute

Just a sweet pic of my boy dressed in his robe before bed!

Hannah and her best little buddy from down the street were playing in the leaves today. They were so cute. They would run in circles, fall on the ground, and then Hannah would ask Zac to help her up. Little kids are so fun to watch.

Thanks Gran

My mom got the kids these big christmas suckers this weekend. Hannah begged and begged to eat hers after dinner. I wasn't planning on giving Ryder his but when he saw Hannah's he screamed until we gave him his. They made a huge mess but the kids loved them

The joys...

The joys of being a parent can be good and not so good. Yesterday was a big day at CDO for the kids. They were having their Thanksgiving feast for lunch and the parents got to join them. Hannah was so excited. Well the night before we woke up to Mr. Ryder having a really yucky diaper which made his bottom fire engine red. Needless to say after a few more times I decided he was not going to school. Thank goodness for Gran. She kept him while we went to eat with Hannah. After school is when the fun began. I was tired of Ryder screaming bloody murder every time I changed his diaper so I decided to let him go with no diaper to try and help out the situation with his hind end. Well that was a genius move. I let Ryder free in the kitchen. 2 seconds later he looks at me, bends his knees and poops on the mat and pees in the floor. All I could do was laugh. I mean did I really think he would not do that. I decided to just throw him in the kitchen sink in an oatmeal bath to clean him up and let his bottom rest. Well sister thought that was cool so she had to join in on the fun and put her feet in the sink. Aww the joys..good or bad being a parent is so much fun.

Nascar

We went to Phoenix this weekend with Aaron and Mikel for the Nascar race. It was a last minute "buisiness trip" and we had a ton of fun. I am definately not a Nascar groupie but I did enjoy the race. I mainly watched the number 9 car just because I think Kasey Kayne is hot. We wore the really cool (hahah) head things to listen to the racers talk and to help with the loud noise. Man it was loud. We sat in turn 4 right before the pit stop entrance. I did alot of people watching. There are a bunch of critter that go to those things. One old lady stood up and waved her arms and screamed every time Junior came around the track. I mean does she really think Junior can see her or even hear her. Nope. I could not even hear Lance or Mikel talk to me during the race it is so loud.

Boys Boys Boys

Ryder has found a new way to entertain himself. He was walking around the house and I heard him laughing so I went to check it out. He had climbed on the step stool in the bathroom and was making faces at himself in the mirror. It was hilarious but soon he will fall off the stool and bust his head open I am sure. So now I have to keep the bathroom door closed. I swear every day he has found something new to climb on. I also had to add a cute pic of Hannah just so she wasn't left out of the blogging world.

1 year check up

Ryder had his one year old check up yesterday. The doc said he was doing great. He was 29 inches tall which was the 20th Percentile, 20 pounds which was the 10th percentile, and his big melon was in the 95th percentile. We got the go ahead from the doc to turn his car seat around. Now he is officially a big boy. He can see the world now and the dvd player!
Ignore the bib. We were done with them for awhile now the molars are coming in I think, and he is a water facet.
